ATA does come to LGA once in a while with a L-1011.

Donald Trump used to have a L-1011 but it was scrapped after he got a quote for a C or D check because it was in the millions. It was sitting in a yard scrapped then sold to World Airways. The last picture I seen of the L-1011 of Donald Trump's, it was stripped of engines, doors, gear and flaps.

    No it doesn't.

While I can't say if one has NEVER been here, I can certainly tell you that no L-1011 from any airline has been to LGA in many years.

For the record in my 20 years at LGA I have NEVER seen or heard of ATA bringing an L-1011 to LGA. They where only operated at LGA by DL,EA, TW with AC operating them occasionally during irregular operations, last time I saw one was in 1988, the 762,763 is AC's irregular ops aircraft of choice now !

Yes they did. I saw it only once from the college of aeronautics tower.

I can confirm it's a L-1011 by it's unique tail and 2nd engine duct and I'm 100% sure. If I had a camera, I would have taken a pic of it.

It landed on runway 4, it was between the year 2003-2004

    Reg is N163AT

And I have been at the college of aeronautics from 2000 to 2005 with nothing better to do at lunch and breaks other than going to the tower and watch planes take off and land.

    where the hell is FNL?

and why can't he just bring the airplane home?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Phil, are you sure this wasn't LAX-LGA instead. I know Trump was in L.A. Sunday night as I saw him on a news replay of the Emmy's this morning. Also as of 1230L Monday VP-BDJ was siting at Five Towers at LGA.

It was late, I was tired, and I'm dyslexic. You're right, it was LAX-LGA.

Actually, for some reason....he ended up stopping at JFK first for minutes and then going to LGA from there.

Why is he doing that? Can't be perimeter rule, can it?
