    Russian Government TU-154 KFJK pics

    Greetings,
Glad to finally get the Russian Government TU-154. I had missed it the last 2 times it had come in. This is the third time I was not passively monitoring the trackers that this operator shows up with the T154. Simply maddening.

    Nice shot Mark,
I mad it back out tonight for it. I didn't have enough time to get the best angle again but this one looks better than yesterday's shot. I was hoping for a daytime arrival back into JFK but of course as to be expected it was not to be.

Last TU-154 I spotted at JFK was Air Guyana in 1986, it was subbing for their 707 which was the last scheduled pax 707 into JFK.
The beehive hummm of the JT9D and GE CF680C2,the thunder of the JT8D-17,the rumble of the PW1830 and the high ,thin whine of the PW 545A are all music to my ears!

I have seen some guys shots of it from the 90s (I think?) Every time I get a new one I think it will be my last. I am glad this is not the case.
