Air India has been serving EWR with the 773 and it finally arrived early enough to get a shot. It arrives daily around 4:30 if anyone is interested as AIC191.

Great shot Bill, Seems that Newark now has a third airline using the 773W. Jet Airways, EVA Air and now Air India.. Very cool.
Sergio has been a huge Delta Air Lines fan since 1992!!

Very nice shot, Bill. I've been watching the beautiful pictures of her coming out of CDG with envy.
When I flew out of EWR back in December she arrived while I was taxiing for the active and when I arrived she was taxiing for the active. Such a gorgeous plane!
Very nice shot, particularly it shows the special wing tip nicely.
Nice shot Bill,
It has that classic Bill and his 15 mins left of sunlight look to it :)
Nice and soft light.

Sergio, that is correct. I just wish EVA arrived earlier in the evening though. Even in June it might just barely be shootable unless they arrive early.
Gordon, thanks I had been seeing the same shots and every day when they arrived after sunset I was saying the days are slowly getting longer. Didn't you post something a few months back about how long it would be on the EWR route?
Thanks Senga, is that a bad thing??
As of now it appears that the 747-400 will switch back to EWR on April 1st. However Air India was supposed to switch AI111/112 to JFK to the 777 earlier this week but it looks like it won't be happening until March 30th so you never know.
I'll have to head out to EWR in the next couple of weeks to get it since JFK could very well be the 777-200. Maybe Sunday March 29th would be a good date so I could kill two birds with one stone and get the Qatar A330-300 as well. Sunset will be at 7:19pm that day so hopefully the Qatar would come during sunlight.
Bill, that is gorgeous. Good shot.
