What Do You Think is up with Trumps 727 VP-BDJ ?

As some of you may or may not be aware LGA's resident 727 VP-BDJ has been absent from the skies as of late. Way back on July 17th she ferried down to Cecil Field in Jacksonville.Florida where the Boeing seems to undergo most of her MTC. Then on Aug 1st she ferried to PSM (Portsmith, NH) where she has been ever since, or at least according to flightaware. So while the obvious reason is Heavy MTC does anyone else have other informatiion or speculation ? And as someome who is at LGA at least 5 days a week I can assure you she has not been seen here during this time frame. Also assuming a full overhaul of D check is being done, a fresh paint job is likely and I wonder if this happens will we see any changes to her look? She once had a slightly differemt look as seen here

I guess time will tell and since a D check takes about a month perhaps VP-BDJ will be back in LGA soon ?

    What do you think ?

    Cheers

I've been wondering about this for some time. It could really be anything. Any aircraft like his might even be ready to be sold for something different, repainted, heavy check, based elsewhere, anything.

Maybe he's selling it to Chinese investors like he did with some of his buildings, or defaulting on some payments like he did with his publicly-traded casino company...

i sure hope he's not getting rid of the bird, would be a shame to lost the last 727 based at the field. i can't imagine anything fill the void left after such an airplane, well nothing short of a 777. ;D
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.

Some of you may not be aware but before DT bought the 72 he had actually purchased an L-1011 for the same purpose but it was never converted to an exec configuration, was never operated for Trump, and I believe he owned the Tri-Star for less than a year.

how cool would it be to have an L1011 based at LGA?

Based on some of his recent travels , if you notice all of the flying is done at rather ineffieient altitudes ( below FL290 ) I think this is because BDJ lacks RVSM capability. As we all know at normal altitudes , a three holer has a voracious appetite for Jet A . ( we used to plan avg 10,000lbs /hr )
