Today I was treated to 4 full stops of the B-24 and T-6 as they are getting ready for airshow week....so I had to take the keys for the old control tower!

and a few from the other day

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

ahahah I was waiting for that....Muscles 8 stayed for an hour. I would have driven over to the terminal for some close up access, but did not want to watch the warbirds doing laps.

Thanks Fred. For a Rotorhead like me that would be quite a catch to see one of those babies up here. Whenever I am down in DC they are a constant flying up and down the
    Potomac.

Awesome shots Fred .. Do you have any photos of the old control towers inside? I always love to see how old buildings hold up after the years. What, if any, equipment is still up there? Old scopes, radios, buttons?

One of my fav pics of all time is a photo of the old NASA control room used during the 60's and 70's. Its still sitting there, like time stopped. Amazing stuff.
