OK, but why shouldn't the method I used work? Since the forum uses BB Code, how come using the [img] tag didn't work? They weren't hyperlinks when I typed them...

You typed them out? I doubt it LOL. Anyway, the forum is designed to INTERPRET Hyperlinks. You should use the little toggle switch to view RAW text vs formatted to make sure. Or use the IMG widget... regardless, it was an easy fix... select the entire block of image text and hit the REMOVE HYPERLINK button! Voila!

The IMG tag worked is just that the forum interpreted the IMG url as a hyperlink and then you had (actually)

PHP Code:

which shows as

[img]http://www.blahblah.com/image.jpg[/img]

I believe the British Prime Minister was departing this evening in a Virgin A340 sitting and being heavily prepped and guarded behind the Triple Hangars. Couldn't even get close enough for a fence shot.

Hmmm.....interesting it was a Virgin A340. Earlier today I was a Virgin A340 sitting on the hardstand near T4 where typically the Emirates A380 is situated. Here are a few more images from Tuesday.
