    Travel Air S-6000B

    Had a chance to do some photo work for Historic Flight Foundation today and get onto the flight deck of a 1929 Travel Air S-6000B reg NC9084.





    Long before the Emirates A380 shower we've seen on various sites a bazillion times over...there was this:

    The windows in "the can" are the highlight. Imagine that on a modern airplane? You'd never get a chance to go to the bathroom!

    Imagine that on a modern airplane?
    The Air New Zealand 777-300's have windows in a very small few of their WC's. I may have stayed slightly longer than was necessary in order to enjoy the novelty of it

    At the Rainbow Room in NYC, the men's room urinals are on an elevated platform to raise you to the level of the windows allowing a great view of downtown Manhattan and the Empire State Building... at night it is a real joy to "go"
