    JFK to PBI 4-15-13

Did a little spotting with my point and shoot at JFK T5. While on approach to PBI, we entered a race track pattern hold due to weather, and we got up close and personal to a Southwest 737!

    FIRE!

    Fake-out engine fire

    I just ran on that!

The storm that made us enter a hold

They were on the 4s all morning, so yea. Well, they were on the 4s right up until I got to my spot in T5 to watch, then they changed to 13/22.

They should have done the Fire Training yesterday while we were near the fake black "plane". Nice photos of New American and Lufthansa.

Yeah, I meant at the time of your flight. Had a day off today and initially went to LGA for some 4 landings, but they switched to 22 by the time I got there. Then headed to JFK wishfully thinking the 13/22 split would have changed somehow... of course it did not.

Nice shots Jason. Love the SWA "near miss". Was he on approach to a parallel runway?
How much separation would you say there was?
