Beautiful shots-- will have mine to post tomorrow, had to make it into work for the 6pm to 6am tour. Im jealous of the one world 757 kaz, I shot it on departure, but horrible light. Will have to use the "photographer horribly out of place and not paying attention" tool on PS.

Great shots by everyone... The one that raises the pant legs is the 737-200 from Songbird..... Moose and Kenny... You guys are actually missing 7 airplanes. ;) They arent in the states as yet.

Wow! Amazing images you all.. Yesterday I was very unproductive, was it the traffic being sort of slow? I think it was just me LOL. But Raj and I caught something you all did not

and now for some of the more usual fare

There were quite a few specials yesterday. This one I caught while waiting for the light at the Costco Entrance... got some serious stares from a woman in a car next to me. Typical as if I had two heads.

What's up with the sky? I thought it was me and I tweaked it for the sky but then the plane was way off. Must have been the angle

I blew all of these, but it was definitely the catch of the day... was using only the old D2Xs yesterday trying to figure out why it has been acting poorly (still having autofocus issues, wah!)

Sun cooperation was 100% but the clouds were not so much ha! This has completely replaced the Vision Airlines 767 from/to Havana.

And then from HoBe, mostly had a terrific chat with Raj... definitely better than the spotting, which totally blew chunks at HoBe yesterday afternoon! They launched BizJets, Delta, American, JetBlue but the expected switch back to 31's never happend. Then the last few minutes were cloud covered and The Mounds got the better of it.

We need a good spot for afternoon 22L departures.. the light down the block on them was gorgeous!! Same as early morning summer 22L departures from Bayswater.

    Anyway,

Thanks Manny! I got lucky with that shot and had to crop the heck out of it, because of all the obstructions. It was the best I could do.

Like the shot of the wheels as well...........maybe I should paint my truck with a spotting them and a Boeing 707 rotating!!!

Yeah that's the ticket, let's paint our cars in murals with aviation themes hahaha. Wonder what security would say when we drive around the airport! lol

Nice shots everyone. Great to see you after 2 months hiatus. Heres few ...

Morning spotting session all by myself @ Woodmere... and the sun shinned literally before he cross the Rockaway Blvd

Think, I really wanted to GO COSTCO angle on this.. but close enough

Yup, I waited out at HoBe for departures and they never came (well the ones I was hoping for) So here the shot to end the day

Looking forward for the next time out... Raj

Excellent shots one and all. The B6 320 looks so small going past the whale

Raj, I'll recommend the Burger Kind parking lot to you for those tighter 31R shots...especially for 777s. Excellent collection though!
