    JFK 5/13 AF1

    Just two for me today.

Have a story to go along with the AF1 pics. Instead of going over to Bay Harbor Mall or Costco I headed over to Bayhouse Restaurant. Sat down at an outdoor table, waitress came over saw my camera and asked if I was there to see AF1, she asked how I knew it was coming in on this runway. My answer was I had a scanner. Real Answer: Senga. She also wanted me to alert everybody at the bar when AF1 was on approach. As AF1 approached everybody(10/15 people) came out onto the deck, some with point and shoot cameras and cell phone cams. Everyone snapped some shots. It was kinda cool.

    Fantastic work, sir.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

    Excellent captures.....

Here are some of my captures from Bayswater before they officially closed the park. Around 12:30 pm today, the parks guys told everyone (fishermen, and a couple of us spotters) that they are pad locking the park because of budget cuts. The helo was taken from my backyard, all others from Bayswater.

    Thanks guys....

Bayhouse is a great spot. Good Food, Good spotting. Can't go wrong.

I'm sure Phil wouldn't mind holding an NYCA event there in the future..

I could almost see this being rejected due to softness (don't worry, i can see it's absolutely tack sharp) but that thing is effing SHINY!!!!! (hence the soft comment). Outstanding work!!!
