    Thanks!

I took it from one of the piers near the Exchange Place PATH station...it's a good spot for a pano of lower Manhattan, but I'm looking for a spot further up the river.

I've heard about shooting from Hoboken for a while, and today I stopped on the way home from PA to check it out.

I was shooting from Frank Sinatra Drive. It's right on the river, parking wasn't bad, and it's a great view. It's directly across from the mid-teens in Manhattan. They have a fishing pier out into the river that gives you a view from the George Washington Bridge all the way down to the VZ Bridge.

Thanks Moose, that's about the spot I was looking for...and it's not too far from the PATH station...after Passover, I'll try to get out there and work some HDR magic... :)

What's the focal length on the first shot?

did you get a shot of that? i'd love to see it...
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
