A little birdy tells me there's an E-4B (!!!!!!????!!!!) on the ground at JFK right now. I'd expect to see pics shortly.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
That's probably one of the more rare domestic aircraft to see on the enthusiast circuit.

BRING BACK THE KJFK/KLGA OBSERVATION DECKS
Well.....I was a fortunate to get a glimpse of this rare bird. I had left the mounds on my way home just a block from Rockaway Blvd, when I caught a quick glimpse between the buildings of something that didn't look familar landing on 22R. I detoured to the field, and wasn't sure what I've seen. I finally located the bird, and the second I saw it, I knew exactly what it was. For obvious reasons, I smeared out some stuff.

I was looking out the back window of my mom's house when that thing flew by to land on 31L...that's the Orion with the radome and the tail boom, right? It flew by and I just went "gaaaa..." with my jaw on the floor. Screamed to my mom "A P-3 WITH A RADOME JUST FLEW BY THE HOUSE" and she just said "That's nice William, hopefully they'll turn the heat back on"
I think this was the same day I saw a C-5 Galaxy land 31R. Heard the whine and knew instantly it was some military hardware. First time seeing the Galaxy so close, what an incredible plane, you think the C-17 is big until you see one of those
The C-5 is one of those planes that amazes me that it can even fly. Wings and engines are WAY too small for that body!
