NWA A319 - arrived from PHL this afternoon, departed about an hour and a half later, back to PHL. I assume it was bringing the Flyers for Saturday night's game with the Islanders.

Mmmm, wonder why it went back to PHL unless they are using a diff jet to leave tonite or going home by bus? Or even
Amtrak? Flyers have game tomorrow home vs Boston.
maybe it might be by bus as the forcast for tonight is really crappy and I doubt they want to spend the night at FRG.
"You above all"
as much as i dislike that airplane i love this shot of it! great work as always dude.Originally Posted by Derf
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
Here's my catches of the NWA - Philadelphia Flyers charter arriving Friday afternoon:
This Talon Air Hawker 4000 showed up right after the NWA A319
Is it still outside in visual range? I'd like to catch a glimpse of it.Originally Posted by lijk604

I took an HDR and was horrible with the lighting...then pulling out of the parkinglot
I remembered the HUGE portable lighting kit that was in my car....called HEADLIGHTS!
That is the only reason that the plane is soo white! It really makes it pop at night.
here are some more shots in the daytime, Less Dramatic? I will let you be the judge.
Not sure if she is inside or outside. Sorry
Thanks for all the nice remarks

Saw the NW A319 was back last night.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
Yeah the weather wasnt that bad after the game for them not to fly. Pretty interesting that I was at my daughters soccerOriginally Posted by GothamSpotter
game at 1:30 and the fog was pretty dense and I SWEAR I heard a Sikorsky S-76 nearby and above the weather.
Last night at 7PM the clouds were low and I definitely heard one fly over heading out NE.
Outstanding shots, both night & day. I was out there on Friday and Saturday and didn't see her. Oh well.

I saw the Miami Air 737 at FRG around Noon, waiting on the Islanders. I passed by again around 3pm, but they had already departed. As I was driving past the airport, I saw the Farmingdale FD "Technical Rescue" truck heading toward New Highway with lights & siren, so I decided to head down that way.
Looks like a little Saturn went through (actually under) the fence down along New Highway. There were a few posts knocked down, and the bottom of the fence was torn up, but the fence looked to be intact for the most part. There were about 6 police cars, two or three fire trucks, two ambulances, and several airport vehicles on the scene. I don't know that the driver suffered any injuries, I later saw the ambulances leave at a normal speed without sirens, etc. and it didn't look like there was significant damage to the car. As you can see, he got through the fence, across the access road, and onto the grass.
With all the emergency response, I didn't try to stop, but simply grabbed a few shots as I slowly drove past, two or three times
