Make sure to leave 128.25 active, you may even want to set the priority for it. That is FRG's Clearance Delivery freq, but for the past few years it's been active as airboss freq.

Last year I missed the Meet & Greet with Thunderbirds. I did not known there was a Meet & Greet after the Friday practice, so when I got to FRG, the Thunderbirds team were leaving the main terminal. :(
Fighting_falcon_51,

Are the Blue angels oing to do a practice at the Beach on Thursday??
Ken
Are the Meet & Greet's open to the general public? There are too many things happening on this Saturday - I want to do them all!!
Is it possible that someone is doing a media shot right now?? I'm listening to a something interesting on 123.475 right now. They are aligning with the Statue Of Liberty, ESB, and other landmarks.
Again, you can listen to this all on my live feed. I will try and put this audio online as well

Sean Tucker is up right now doing a photo-flight. Saw them depart around 5:30pm
Good question...are the meet and greets open to the public?

Here is a guide I made for some of the first time spotters at FRG during airshow week.
Top ten tips for spotting at Republic Airport during airshow week
1.Food/Water: Even if you plan to stay for a short amount of time it wouldn't be a bad idea to pack water and some food. If you plan to stay for the whole day it is suggested that you pack sufficient food and water. The surrounding area has several "fast food" places and restaurants but if you have a good spot, it would be a shame to give it up.
2.Sun Protection: One thing most people overlook is sun protection. At Republic Airport shade is minimal and exposure to the sun will cause bad burns, it is suggested that you wear sunscreen and a hat.
3.Locations: There a several places to spot at Republic Airport for details on each location read Nycaviation's Republic Airport Plane Spotting Guide.
4.Situational awareness: Republic Airport gets crowded during airshow week, it is a VERY good idea to make sure you know what is going on around you at all times to avoid careless accidents.
5.Law Enforcement: Republic Airport is known to be a spotter friendly airport, but remember to always respect and follow orders of law enforcement.
6.Intel: You can download the flying schedule off here or you can do the more eco friendly option and go to http://nyasinfo.com on your mobile device.
7.Supplies: Here are some recommended supplies that I suggest you bring with you: ID,Cash,Camera,Binoculars , scanner, Food/Water, and Intel.
8.Ear Protection: The jets may get quite loud, it is suggested that you use ear protection especially for younger children.
9.Connections: I will do my best to keep everyone filled in on the most current info regarding the airshow, you can go to http://nyasinfo.com on your mobile device for airshow info and I will also update my twitter instantly from FRG. You can also get the tweets sent directly to your desktop or mobile device by using Tweet Deck. Also you can text "follow nyasinfo" to 40404 and get live updates sent to your phone via SMS text message.
10.Have Fun!: Above all have fun and enjoy yourself!
