I just looked at these again. I am blown away by the degree of banking! Tom, how much did you pay each pilot to do that?! LOL awesome! I am just floored!
And I, I took the path less traveled by
and that has made all the difference......yet...
I have a feeling a handle of people are going to be very interested in what I post in the near future.

From Howard Beach, in order to get that kind of quality, you definitely need 400mm....and hope for a late bank.

Nice shots Tommy! Certainly was a great day. I think I saw you guys out there as I drove past on my way back to the Rockaways for my son's soccer game.

John...nice to finally meet you and thanks for the assist with the search for the missing glasses. Hope to see you out there again sometime.

ok thanks for the Info !

I'm very curious to see how the Howard Beach spot is like...400mm sounds like a problem when it comes to quality. Do all overseas bound heavies turn that late or can it happen that some Jumbos turn before ?

    cheers

400mm isn't a problem if the conditions are right. Most heavies that you see at Howard Beach bank like the one you referenced, but occasionally with a lighter load, they'll come right over your head instead.
