hi guys,
my first posting here...
those are amazing and great shots, I love those banking shots from JFK, especially when they are in such great quality combined with perfect light conditions ! Nice !
cheers
Tamon
p.s. how many mms are required to shoot a Jumbo banking at this place ?
this for example :
From Howard Beach, in order to get that kind of quality, you definitely need 400mm....and hope for a late bank.

John...nice to finally meet you and thanks for the assist with the search for the missing glasses. Hope to see you out there again sometime.

ok thanks for the Info !Originally Posted by Mellyrose
I'm very curious to see how the Howard Beach spot is like...400mm sounds like a problem when it comes to quality. Do all overseas bound heavies turn that late or can it happen that some Jumbos turn before ?
cheers

400mm isn't a problem if the conditions are right. Most heavies that you see at Howard Beach bank like the one you referenced, but occasionally with a lighter load, they'll come right over your head instead.
ok thanks again, sounds very promising !Originally Posted by Mellyrose
