it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
the only noteworthy traffic today was N517AT. other than that, N78PT, N509QS, C-GPFT and N78JB were all parked at the MAT. some by 5 towers but quite a few over on echo ramp. also, the sikorsky S-92 flew overhead this morning, closely floowed by a piaggio avanti about 4000' above it.

N747UW visited us today, the first US Airways East A319 painted in the new colors. with 04 departures going on for most of the day i didn't get to see much.

Phil, internally we are known as US-East (former US) and US-West (fomer HP). And Matt the 319 you saw today, N747UW is actually the second 319 painted, 746UW went on line about a week ago in the new colors !

I am not at work this week but the girls from our Tower called me at home yesterday morning (Monday 3-20) around 1130 to advise they had just seen an AA 757 with winglets and thought of me, frankly I was impressed/surprised they noticed !

Today was one of those somewhat frustrating days at work at LGA. After so many beautiful weather days today was so-so till around 1400 then lousy for photography afterwords. And to the best of my knowledge most of our local group was either at work, school, or just not hanging out at LGA. And of course when u have so-so weather and no one around to enjoy it ends up being a great day traffic wise, here goes in approximate time order !
PSA Retrojet (not expected)
Allegheny Retrojet (not expected
GE BBJ
AA 738 w winglets
AA 738 Retrojet
2 F14's Depart ( the ones from Tuesdays Yankees opener)
And finally AC's awesome 65th Anniversary A-320.
Pretty Good Day at the office
