Great shots especially the one of the 5 & 6 planes taking off thats the one that came out as a puddle of fuzz for me because of the fence...

was there this morning and took some videos. it was aweeeesooomee!!!
anybody know take off time for tomorrow? it says from nyasinfo "blue angels circle maneuver" at 10:30AM. and also on saturday at 3pm it says blue angels meet and greet, that means we are allowed into republic where the angels are parked to meet the pilots????
If I remember correctly from 2010(Thunderbirds?), they open the gate behind the terminal to allow the public to access part of the tarmac where the planes are parked. They do have barricades set up so you get a little bit closer to the planes. I believe they were also handing out flyers so you have something for them to sign. One day I need to bring my Franklin Mint Blue Angel and Thunderbird diecast for each team to sign.
Took my three year old out for his first FRG experience today. We sat on the car on New Highway and waited for the Blues to come back from their Hudson River Flyover. He was so excited to hear the jets, watch 7 take off and see Ernie some in for a landing!! We went over to the main terminal and hooked up with my folks to watch 7 come back from his media flight.
Here's a few:
And finally the little guy and his Grandpa soaking it all in:

Either Ernie or another c-130 was part of the flyby. I didn't get a close enough view from my office to be sure, but it was definitely a 130.
Great photos everyone.
Ok guys...I am tired and the airshow has yet to begin... This will probably be my only post for a while
Have a safe weekend guys!
