Vision Air 767-200ER at LGA To Vienna direct

A Vision Air 767-200ER was at LaGuardia earlier today.... It departed a few hours ago and is enroute to Vienna, Austria as we speak.... It was a special deportation charter for those Russian spies we nailed a week ago.... I am shocked no one got on this.... I only caught this by chance because I found a 762 at LGA in the trackers.... I can only prey someone got this.

Maybe you should check NYCA more often...

Actually several of us enjoyed watching this beauty depart but because it was completely dark at departure time no photos are available from our group. We had no idea who the flight was operating for, when I called my contacts at Port Ops they where very vauge, just said a VIP flight, now I understand why.

I can only recall one other widebody departure nonstop to Europe in my years working at LGA, an Airbus Belagu to XFW (Airbus factory in Hamburgh) back in the 90's. Even though the 767 had a very light passenger and cargo load, I was still impressed when the Boeing lifted off 13 in less than 5000 feet, it was a beautiful site. Below are 2 shots of the same aircraft recently at SFO and SJU.

It was a quick visit. The news media got wind of it but the news choppers were held off by the FAA. We were kind of surprised they were flying the 10 Russians out of LGA. We campaigned to sponsor the red head, but it didn't work out :borat:

Surprised they didn't do the swap in Berlin.

Back in the 80s they were usually caught after they'd actually done something nefarious...missile designs, troop movements, media propaganda. These guys didn't even get any secrets from their mailman.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.

I remember that one. it brought the horozontal stab for the Air Canada bus that knocked over the catering truck.
