On a side note, I did think the Skytypers telling me by writing it in the sky was a bit overkill!

The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".

I went to FRG today and it was like a ghost town, here are some things worth mentioning:
F-18's are still there as expected.
The NFI Husky was flying around
The 4 helicopters are still at Atlantic
There was a all black Cessna at Atlantic but they moved the plane before I was able to get a shot of it

Are the 1:00 - 1:30PM departure time for Sunday still accurate?

I was going to ask someone at sheltair but there was no one there. I guess we could assume 1:00-1:30 is still accurate. Is anyone planning on going?Originally Posted by fk6065

I'll be there. Going to go when I wake up to see if I can find out any more info. Found great wifi over there so I will bring my laptop in case I hear anything
Fantastic photos, as usual!
Now I've got 2 questions for those more in the know:
1) Will New Highway be inaccessible on Sunday and if so, how would you get up close to Sheltair?
2) And for those of us without field access, what would be the best place around the perimeter to go watch them depart?
(ok, maybe that was really 3 questions).
Construction is from Mon-Fri1) Will New Highway be inaccessible on Sunday and if so, how would you get up close to Sheltair?
If it uses 14/32 (which it most likely will) the best place to watch them or take pics when they depart is across the street at the main terminal.2) And for those of us without field access, what would be the best place around the perimeter to go watch them depart?
