I noticed them do the same when the Met Life blimp was in town - I hadn't seen it before that.

The B-17 is due in MONDAY at HIGH NOON! :borat:
The three most common expressions in aviation are, "Why is it doing that?", "Where are we?" and "Oh Crap".
anyone know what time the museum will be open on tuesday evening?
just wondering if i need to get out of work early to see it.
I heard the schedule for Tuesday/Wednesday is for the B-17 to be doing flights in the morning (until 1-2pm) then will be on display from 2-5. I don't expect the museum to be open later than 5.

All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

Are there services open late at Sheltair or Atlantic?
I was listening to liveatc.net and another USCG helicopter came at 12AM I wonder what they are doing so late.

heard through the grapevine that there were two USCG birds and NYPD ASR helos searching the atlantic for a lost para-glider that developed engine trouble and may have gone down in the atleantic near the NY harbor.Originally Posted by Fighting_falcon_51
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
