It's usually the last Saturday of Sept. so that makes sense.
I wonder what the Navy will be bringing in?

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9
Who do we have to talk to at McGuire to get a KC-135 up here?

Good find. I'm very excited.
I hope a certain special visitor that was unable to come last year will be able to make it this year. [/annoying anonymous comment]

Surprised to see Greenwood Lake having an airshow that weekend also.
Maybe someone has finally bought the airport and is going to improve it. The Connie up there has had a paint job recently, although it should have been repainted in TW colors.
gonna have to be Mr. Kroeppel. 707s and DC-8s aren't allowed to land here at LGA.Originally Posted by moose135

It's an "open house" out on the ramp at LGA. Usually, they will have several airliners on display that you can walk through, visit the cockpit, etc. The NYPD Aviation and PAPD usually have helicopters on display, along with the Skytypers, some of the other area warbirds, and a few military visitors. PAPD has had a couple of big crash trucks and other toys on display, NYPD K-9 unit did a demo. There offered free hot dogs and other refreshments the past few years.Originally Posted by Fighting_falcon_51

Remember they got approval for one last year, and it would have been there had it not gotten rained out.Originally Posted by cancidas

Looks like I'm working that weekend. :x
I hope I'm here for it; going to have to call my buddies from LGA for a ride...
I believe LGA received a C-17 a couple years ago as well.
