Can someone please educate me....I don't recall reading in the Constitution anything about Slavery being legal... The 14th Amendment freed the slaves...Maybe her and Matt Damon can get together and annoy each other to death..
I don't get the Whoopi comment at all, in the Constitution it said that "All Men Are Created Equal", so, if People were following the Constitution, the slaves would have been freed a lot earlier.....
So, no Whoopi, you do not need to be worried about being a slave again

Well, clearly Whoopi is playing to the cheap seats in the house, but I might know where she was coming from.
McCain was enthusing over strict constitutional-ist judges for the Supreme Court (if I got that part right). [As an aside, in 2008 this is what I'd like to see as well....]
Whoopi might've been more fair in asking McCain how he felt about the "activism" of the Warren Court vis-a-vis Civil Rights, but of course the Views audience would be totally lost at that point, as would they would probably be any answer McCain gave good, bad or indifferent.
Yet, everyone will be encouraged to go vote. :( :(

Ok so Palin is a Governor for less than two years what is Obama? How long has he been anything? Did we know anything about him? Come on Matt. In fairness to these actors you have to remember we are in the final stretch to election day. It is only going to get uglier now since Palin has blown this thing wide open and it's becoming clear Obama will be a loser come November unless McCain does something stupid. The early media stardom of Obama has long since faded and the undecided voters just can't vote for that ticket. Obama can't follow through on his two biggest promises. Pulling all the troops out of Iraq and giving everyone free health care. In the spring it made codepink and everyone happy but now that the truth is becoming clear so is the fact the darling of hollywood and CNN and MSNBC can't get it done. His poor VP just made it worse. So you will see more of the anti Palin stuff since her star is just rising. As far as what Whoopi is saying I don't think anyone has taken her serioulsy for quite sometime now. The vew is known for being a far left whack pack so her statements are not a surprise. It will be a rush to the finish and you will see mud slinging galore. No surprise Hollywood is being recruited to try to help the Obama sinking ship. Not sure even Oprah can save him now.
