25 Skills Every Man Should Know

Popular Mechanics has drawn up a list of 25 skills every guy should have. A lot of them are good, and some of them are a bit lame I think...retouching a digital photo is not vital to your survival, patching a radiator hose or cleaning a rifle might be. Nevertheless, I think I'm capable of about a third of the list. How about you guys?

    1. Patch a radiator hose
    2. Protect your computer
    3. Rescue a boater who has capsized
    4. Frame a wall
    5. Retouch digital photos
    6. Back up a trailer
    7. Build a campfire
    8. Fix a dead outlet
    9. Navigate with a map and compass
    10. Use a torque wrench
    11. Sharpen a knife
    12. Perform CPR
    13. Fillet a fish
    14. Maneuver a car out of a skid
    15. Get a car unstuck
    16. Back up data
    17. Paint a room
    18. Mix concrete
    19. Clean a bolt-action rifle
    20. Change oil and filter
    21. Hook up an HDTV
    22. Bleed brakes
    23. Paddle a canoe
    24. Fix a bike flat
    25. Extend your wireless network

Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. We have a small problem.
All four engines have stopped. We are doing our damnedest to get them under control.
I trust you are not in too much distress. —Captain Eric Moody, British Airways Flight 9

I can do everything but 13. Fillet a fish
And frameing a wall would be no problem, I would have problems with a window.

I can do all but about 3 of them... I don't see why re-touching digital photos is on there; that's weak....

I guess I'm a real man! I can and have done all but rescue a capsized boater. I am an avid boater and my family owns a 40' yacht, so if need be, I can do that too.

I can do all of that except for the shotgun cleaning.

    3. Rescue a boater who has capsized
This one I've done and any boater should be able to do this.

that's what i know i can do. i had to delete all the water stuff aside from paddling a canoe which i have actually done. i can clean not only bolt action rifles but all forms of firearms including semi-auto and full auto rifles. my most effective and cheapest radiator hose patch was a pack of gum, 2 feet of duct tape and three zip-ties.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
