Hi, based on your previous experience, how many more of the UN visitors will end up in SWF? Will, for example, the Iranian SP pay a visit? Wondering if it's worth another visit in the next few days.
What about giving hints? :DOriginally Posted by Iberia A340-600

You stink
But having been up at SWF it leads me to believe you work there. But keeping your anonymity is cool.
Aircraft update for 9/25:
Newly parked:
Congo 727-100
Gadair 757-200 (Operating for Nicaragua)
Vietnam Airlines 777-200
Kazakhstan 767-200 (Leaving Tonight)
Air Force 1
Gainjet MD-80
Royal Air Maroc 757-200
I've been lead to the conclusion that by weeks end there will be have been 15 or 16 aircraft parked at Stewart. The Iran 747SP won't be paying a visit however.Originally Posted by JZ1

I'm heading up there tomorrow. Shame I'll miss the Kazakh!
Here is the Gadair for those who would like to know what it looks like:
Best I could do with Kazak: :borat:
And isn't she just beautiful!
Thanks for the heads up, I'll be there tomorrow as well in the afternoon.Originally Posted by markg
I got a partial shot of AF1, and some good shots of A6-XRJ, 0207, the Twinjet, Miami Air, and Kazakstan.
I tried to shoot the Cameroon 767, Congo 727, and DC-8, but I was told that I couldn't for security reasons and something about the state police :(
I was really disappointed about AF1, since that was the reason I took the trip to SWF. They have it parked surrounded by C-5's along a hanger at the ANG base.
I think I saw you today, Chris. Were you in a white car with an older man and wearing a striped shirt?
Philippine Airlines A340 is planned from EWR to SWF this morning. ETA at SWF is 624am.
Yeah, that was probably us.Originally Posted by Iberia A340-600
So I stopped by Stewart this afternoon for a little while:
Updates:
Malaysia A319
Philippines A340-300
Polish TU-154
I was in the white Volvo on the hill, I believe you actually pulled up next to us for a minute!Originally Posted by Chris102
I remember! I wish I had known that was you - I would have said hello.Originally Posted by Iberia A340-600
Great shots! Especially the Poland TU154 and the Congo 727!
Were you at the airport when AF1 departed? I heard 28000 showed up this morning as a decoy before 29000 took off for JFK - it would have been cool to see them both at the same time.
I was actually at school when AF1 departed, luckily I had a free period at the time and was outside hanging on a quad and saw her fly over around 1:00pm. I actually interested some of my friends when I started jumping up and down yelling that it was AF1!
I would buy that first fed ex shot from you.
