Airone (AP) wins Alitalia

Airone has won the bidding for Alitalia. It will be confirmed by the government in the coming days. It will create an Italian mega carrier and the combined company will most likely be a member of Star Alliance given AP's close relationship with Lufthansa. Airone ordered 50 more A320s yesterday which was a key hint that they would win Alitalia. the 320s will be used to replace AZ's MD-80's.

My experience of flying Air One was just great. I wish I could say the same about AZ. I would really like the Air One brand to stay.

By the way, I really liked Air One's young and hot cabin crew. I think they've got the best-looking cabin crew I've ever come across, beating even SQ, hands down.
