i think i've figured out where he shoots these from, but wasn't going to try to do it with all the NYPD in the area, just not in the mood for hassle.
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
Nice shot, I've also been seeing a darker colored CH-53 flying over LI since the beginning of the summer, anyone else catch it?

I very much do like documenting the helicopter movements around our parts.. can't get enough of them actually.
As for the security, yeah, it was very tight.. .considered taking a pass on the whole thing when the weather went south...as surprised as anyone it was accepted....
