Sounds like loads of fun! I'll try to make it.

If the weather is good I might make a day trip up to LGA for the event - sounds like it's alot of fun and it would be great seeing some of you guys again! :)

I've heard great things about this and I should be able to come.

i just realized, why is it happening so late?
it is mathematically impossible for either hummingbirds, or helicopters to fly. fortunately, neither are aware of this.
time-wise or date-wise?
no bbq? :cry:Originally Posted by mirrodie

I think I will bring my nephews there, they are 5 & 6 years old.
Do you have any more information on it?

In the words of hiss_srq, "I'm all over that!"
I've been wanting to go to kid's day at LGA for two years now. I booked a flight in 2004 to go up there but thanks to a hurricane that year moving up into the northeast after dealing with us in Florida, Kid's day was cancelled. Shame. Thank goodness I was able to change my ticket. Last year I didn't bother because I was afraid of weather again. This year, I have these beautiful benefits from Delta. I am definately going to try to get up to NYC the 30th. Maybe a one day MCO-LGA-MCO trip on the 30th. Anyone willing to pick me up at the DL terminal and give me a ride? Or is it accessible from the marine terminal? I could take the bus over to the marine terminal if the entrance is over by there. Hope to see you all there on the 30th!

Hey Justin,
good to see that I won't be the only out-of-towner at the kid's day. I look forward to meeting you bro! :)

FYI-the part 139 exercise will be October 14th
"The nine most terrifying words in the English language are, 'I'm from the government and I'm here to help.' "
Ronald Reagan
...would you mind explaining what that means please?
Sorry, part of FAA regulations 139 says the airport needs to perform drills, tabletop exercises and full scale disaster exercises. 10/14 will be a full scale.Originally Posted by Mellyrose
