Very nice! You could have seen my dad. Since the Southwest and Airtran merger he switched over and is now a 737 Co-Pilot based in Baltimore!
Thanks!

The plane I came to see! Cargojet 245 takes off for Bermuda with one of the last 727s operating a 727-200AF. ...
There are still two FedEx 727s at EWR, one looks like it is going to fly, it had crates infront of it and a FedEx van. The other one had the door open and covers over the engines.
Nice shots! I love that Cargojet 727!
Thanks guys! How do the FedEx 727s navigate do they have any updates in them or is it GPS and hand flown?
Ok, only because a couple of the departures go right over my house so I would have possibly been able to get a good shot. I have EWR Departures, LGA arrivals/departures, JFK arrivals, and MacArthur...
Ok, thanks.
Thanks, was it only on weekdays when you did see them?
Good, how many are usually at the HUB there?
Hey guys just a few quick questions that I am hoping someone can answer.
1) How many 727s are left?
2) How many still go into and out of Newark and does anyone know if there is any that fly during...

Zero G 727 just passed my house going into LGA WITHIN 5 MINS!
Nice! That has to be the 70 series combi because it has CFM-56s and not JT8Ds.
Wow do they still fly the 70 series combi?
Actually it's not as rare as I thought it was, Just looked at flightaware and it shows that its been operating with the 62 for quite sometime now, I usually only go out that way during the fall and...
Yeah It's ATI 720 or something like that and it took me 2yrs to finally catch it hahaha, But they only have one 62 series combine and it's usually a Stretch 8 that does the job.
Did a little spotting on a family outing today and this is what my turnout was....
