I saw somthhing on the news about this. Apparently he will actually even spend the RON's on tis plane unless it goes O.O.S. for somthing serious. Cannot say I envy him in the least.
Good point which I overlooked on the cabin mask deployment. So scratch idea.
Here is my question. I only know what I have heard via various media outlets as we have not even located this plane yet but what if we are looking in the totally wrong places for this airplane?...
Why should the pilots be blames. They took initial concessions but management never took concessions of their own. And as far as the whole lease argument goes yes the Midwest pilots turned it down...
By this point I think this is a recovery event. I would have my doubts that there are any survivors at all. There has only been one passenger in history if my memory is correct who has ever survived...
Godspeed to all and may they always have tailwinds. It does not look good at all for this one. Once they do start finding wreckage this is going to be a real tricky one as well due to the distance...
Forget 2/3 if your not down in the first third of the runway at a place like that it is time to slam them forward. Got to love the camera guys reaction. "That kind of.........blows"
That is fantastic. I echo the man above me's question. I would love to go to one of those games.
That has been in the wood work since Midwest announced the retirement of the MD's. One had to figure. So now Midwest becomes a paper airline and the first major in which Regional pay scales will...
Sometime this week I might make a personal trip. WN ISP-TPA-ISP. Not sure on the dates yet though. I also may have a pending trip to Denver, North Carolina by way of US from LGA to CLT.
Jeeze folks, when are we going to realize that it is just Rosie O'Donnell out camping.
Bad taste for the kid on one hand fist bump on the other and as for the teacher, have fun for the next ten years.
Congradulations, Republic has just finished adding the final nail to the coffin for the pilots group at Midwest. Without getting too hostile this event has now opened up a new whole can of worms...
This one was making the rounds with my friends. Apparently some deployed KC-10 Drivers got bored and made a music video.

If you are looking for a remotely decent view I would check out the top floors of the doubletree. I have spent a few overnights in the Double Tree and the view from the top floors is probably going...

This one came off the wire from USAToday this morning on these guys. I am skeptical of this though. It looks like they are thinking of...
This airline is pretty interesting yet they are not really working from a new idea. They are not owned or invested in by Miami Air. They are a seperate company who are going to do an ACMI deal with...
As an interesting note on the "Sabreliners" at least one crew or at least the one that I met was 3/4 German. Three out of four were actually from the German Air Force and the lady from the crew was a...
I am planning on being there for at least Saturday. Three or 4 days with Sean Tucker is enough to wear anyone out. That guy has ENERGY!
That airplane has to be the worst looking airplane on the planet. Not to mention the football team.
The two A10's from the Air show will be doing a flyby at citi feild tomorrow for the met game.
I do not know what the possible outcomes are down in Oz but you can probably bet your britches that in the USA thesuits would have you in some hot soup for somthing like this. Totally awesome video...
