Re: Airblue A321 Crash in Pakistan, 152 Killed

Looking at the total disintegration of the plane this one was definitely not survivable.

First fatal crash of an A321 which has a pretty good accident record (only 2 hull losses) for having been...

Re: Something to Look out for at JFK...

One would think after the country winning the world cup, Iberia would come up with a bigger sticker or at least something that looks at least halfway interesting.
This is one I wouldn't mind missing...

Cowens727, which lens do you have?

That lens seems to have great contrast. Does anyone use the Canon 70-300 mm IS? Wonder how sharpness and contrast looks with it.

    Re: Any Braniff Fans?

The first time I came across the above Calder DC-8 picture my reaction was WOW! The artwork on the wings make the whole design even more spectacular.

I thought about looking for that pic and...

Re: JFK 7/25/10 (First Picture Posting)

The contrast on these shots is perfect! The only thing is the sharpening looks a bit harsh in my monitor, a smaller unsharp mask radius might be a bit better.

    Re: Virgin updates its scheme

The worst part of the Virgin liveries is how the color spews from the tail into the fuselage in a backwards angle. Odd design trend that is simply AWFUL.

    Re: Boeing Field 7/13/10

In that same scheme?? Good! If I go to LAX or something have a much better chance of running into it. Even if there were 20 of those, I'd shoot one of them before I even notice a bizjet 727. Those...

    Re: JFK 7/23/10

Are you shooting digital? The SP shots look good, especially like the angle on the first one and it's centered nicely. I also like the DL 737.

The real question is why are the Saudis going to NY...

It's all about priorities brah! The single special scheme EVA 777 > Generic unmarked 727 anyday and everyday! (at least in my book).

N30MP is actually a short body 727-100 type. A cool classic...
