My gamble failed... disappointed ... but this was a great thing to watch no matter what.

I am not so much worried about the motion blur - I am just trying to figure out the angle of the plane to the skyline and area. If everyone is gonna have almost the same shot from the different parts...

I think if I shoot at 600mm or 840mmm or even risk it and go...

I'm gonna take the huge risk and go the pier in NJ to shoot north at the statue of liberty. If the path remains the same, I should see it come back when it comes back from going north up the West...

Thanks Steve, I was thinking of shooting from the pier, facing north towards the statue of liberty, I thought it would be over head or at least more from the east before noon. I'll have to see... I...

Thanks Steve - appreciate the information... I've been looking at the Spotting Map/Guide and can see the bays water. I've also been looking to see what area's in NJ on the Piers might give me a NYC...

If the most recent information is correct, the shuttle and ferry landing on 31L - can anyone tell me what we can identify as the landing path? Sorry Im a newb - just trying to figure out where to be...

My boss is done with me changing, but now I dont know if I can get to JFK area before 9am... flight is from 9-11 right ?
