Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I was listening to LGA tower at work today and around 2:45p there was someone with the callsign Lima 5 I believe, then at 3:30 Lima 7 was spoken too...
is there a phone number I can call for the ATIS on the way over just to be safe?
seriously considering it, except the idea of having to get to jfk in time to figure out which rwy is in use and the traffic thats sure to be involved is a scary one
