In the interests of disclosure, I have a 3G for two years now and do plan on upgrading in a few months to the 4 when the hysteria dies down. Here in the DFW area I haven't had an issue with...
Smallest tornadic supercell documented I believe was only about 22,000 feet in height. Quite the midget when the monsters we see in the southern Plains can easily top 50,000 feet.
Did you hear the one about an official with AT&T getting married to someone from Apple? The service was great, but the reception sucked.
Instability in the area wasn't enough to support uber-beast mesocyclonic supercells that routinely shell use with Mother Nature's artillery, hail. But impressive storms, nonetheless. Some storm...
Best WSO/RIO/GIB (guy in back). EVER. Planespotting at Snowdonia is on my avgeek bucket list.

That's quite a crowd at the spotting overlook at KCLT!
I'd guess about 24 hours for crew rest and unloading before departs.
Just outside the town of Gun Barrel City here in Texas (actual town SE of Dallas, believe it or not) there's an old farmer with a hunting dog named Co-Pilot known for his skills. One day a group guys...

Nicely done. I love unusual angles and elements that give a sense of action, it this case the condensation trails/cloud.
Beginning December 1, British Airways will upgauge its LHR-DFW service from the 777-200ER to the 747-400. They did this for about 10 days in January (naturally, the only 10 days in January my work...
If I were rich, I'd hire a bunch of lawyers and bury the TSA in motions and injunctions past their eyeballs.
Then I'd go see if Don Scherer wants to sell me his Beech Starship.
Thanks for the comments, guys. I'm still trying to get a feel for the amount of sharpening to apply.
This past Wednesday I had some time while waiting for some of the Chicklets' summer activities...
Very cool. Were you having to shoot into the sun during the race?
Very cool. Wish I could make out the fuselage codes- the "C" in a square on tail at least indicates the 96th Bomb Group from Snetterton Heath, UK.
Thanks, guys! I still consider myself a DSLR newbie and though I shoot everything manually except autofocus, there's still lots for me to learn. I'm hoping seeing how you guys do it will help, some...
On 11 February we had a freak snowstorm that dumped over 12 inches on the DFW area. That's not much compared to what parts of the East Coast got, but it was tons of fun to go planespotting that day....
Thanks. Much more where these came from.....These shots were from 21 January:
