I think CX is bringing in its 748F regularly now...its often hard standed behind Bldg 78...you can get good shots from Old Rockaway Blvd right past Post J
They moved it this AM to behind Hangar 5, I assume to begin repairs....

DL's "hub" at JFK is not even 1/3 as big as CO at EWR. The main issue for DL is the crappy old worldport from the 60's...if they had a state of the art facility the sky would be the limit...
I read on A net that its going to EWR with all the other Privatair biz flights, not JFK...

also saw an Avianca MD-80 today...I thought they were just running the 757 or 767...always good to see the Mad Dogs!
There were both the LOT 767 Star Alliance and ANA 777 Star Alliance the other day...The LOT 767 was taxiing past the BA terminal as they were pushing back ANA...would have made a great shot!
I think at JFK its just the 74 Combi and lately a 772...EWR gets the A330...I hear that NW will be running its 757 w/winglets from JFK and EWR to substitute for KL...that should be interesting...I...
Virgin would be certain to use JFK...they have 3 flights to JFK vs 2 at EWR...I doubt they would use EWR...
its too bad they can't some legacy mainline flights...pretty soon its liable to become a WN station only...not good for LI fliers...I personally would like to see CO back with ERJ's to CLE of even...
its been that way ever since CO bought People Express...that's one of the major reasons foreign carriers go there...to gain access to CO's transferring hub traffic....

Well they started passenger flights from Shanghai...I haven't seen the freighter lately...maybe they have enough lift with the 5x weekly(?) A340-600 belly lift as they did with 1 or 2 times weekly...
I think according to A net LAX and JFK were doing poorly so they were going to end the non stop and go with a one stop thru somewhere else in Asia. Guess they're wrong.
