NBC news is reporting that the Blue Angles pilot is believed to be dead.
I am at a loss for words...

It's confirmed...the pilot did not make it.
Very sad.

Still no word on the condition of the pilot. My stomach is in knots right now....

Driving on rte 110, i just saw what i think was one of the Breitling guys flyover, hook a hard left over republic, came back around and landed. Awesome sight.

Heard the sounds of beefy rotors strong enough that it shook my house a few mins ago. Saw what looked like a Blackhawk heading for 14.

There's a war bird flying around Republic and neighboring towns today. At first I thought it was a Corsair but realized it wasn't. Any idea what kind it is? Reminds me of '04-'08ish when seeing...

Just flew over Old Bethpage in formation. BEAUTIFUL!!!....and not as loud as previous years.

Just heard #7 fly over Old Bethpage but couldn't see it.

Just flew over my house.

It's usually one that performs. The 2nd plane is usually used for a back up in case of mechanical probs.
