That's a wild list! I would kill to have seen that Fokker F-28!!
Thanks for posting the list. It must have been very time-consuming. We here are grateful.I do believe that China sent no delegation this year in response to the economic tariffs; if wrong just post. Of course, sadly no Cubana as well.
I also would die to see the Indian jumbo. UN Week is surely over; they re-opened the GAT.
what is GAT?
Thank you Jbluflyermatt who took his time to follow and post all these movements and even included a list at the end, and thanks to everyone else who posted valuable info including Springbok with planes coming out of Africa. Thank you all for keeping the UN thread tradition alive.
A number of delegations/aircraft which have come in the past were absent this year. Vietnam was another, and it came last year at night, unfortunately some of the more interesting planes can come at night. This year almost everything came in during daylight and saw a good number of new aircraft; some hadn't been seen in a while, like the Djibouti Falcon 7
I don't think VP-CKH was UN related, it came into Bedford from Farnborough then to White Plains and is still there.
P4-BFY was from Luanda to Teteboro and same route back so must have a connection to the Angolan delegates.
One of the ramp guys up at Stewart posted a picture of A6-PFE (UAE B789), and it was indeed from this year. Guess they snuck in on us. Wonder what the Weststar was then...
Here are the UN catches from this year. Other photos from the week will eventually make their way up on Flickr as well.

Great stuff, Ryan! Thanks for posting! Looks like you got some really interesting shots.
That is an outstanding set of stuff!!!
Mark your calendars... the General Debate for next year starts on Tuesday the 22nd of September, which means UN Weekend will be the 19th and 20th!
Hot set of photos! That IL-96 is something else.
Well, I would actually consider TODAY to be the last day of UNGA. The Emir of Kuwait was in the hospital here in New York the past few weeks, and he wasn’t able to fly home. He’s finally going back today. Kuwait’s 748 is currently at JFK, expected to leave within an hour as KUG001.
Excellent shots Ryan! I thought we would go the whole time without any Russian metal and the Il-96 shows up right at the end. Too cool
