Thanks for the info Fred. I'm looking forward to this coming weekend, and hope Mother Natural provides us with the good weather.
My source says around 5PM. And I saw one of my "Memories" post on FB from 2 years ago and the Angels came into FRG around 9AM and yes they did the graduation that year also and left around 9AM then back and flew some media flights though the weather wasnt that great and the Friday practice show was cancelled!!
Great to start getting some info! Has anyone ever done the beach on Thursdays for the circles and landmarks? I never did and was wondering how it is, thinking of heading down after their arrival at Republic.
Cool, thanks guys! I've done the Friday practice in the past which is more enjoyable to get some nice shots as opposed to Saturday and Sunday.
Anyone know if the f-35 will fly as part of the practice show on Friday?
Ken
Can someone tell me why the BLue Angels need the temp arresting system.
Here's an article that explains why the Blue Angels use a Mobile Aircraft Arresting System (MAAS) at Airfields they use for Air Shows:

Not perfect, but I wont go and kick a puppy just yet.
Anyone know when Fat Albert is due in. He usually arrives around the same time as #7, no?
Team Oracle has arrived.
Anyone know if the F35 will do a flyby at the airport on Saturday and Sunday for the museum. And if it's doing the Friday airshow.

Any info on Snowbirds arrival?
And has the order of performers been finalized yet?
Any word on when to expect the Snowbirds? Saw on twitter that they will be in DC tomorrow. Does Snowbird 10 come in the day before like BA #7?
Will there be any practice runs on Thursday for any of the teams?
They'll be some practicing going on Thursday cause the TFR is in effect from 10AM - 3PM EDT daily from May 26 - May 29

whatever happened to that NYASINFO gentleman?
Really enjoyed his coverage of the air show.
Snowbird Jets #10 and #11 flying in at 11:30 AM, followed by Jets #1-9 flying in at 1:30 PM.
You're welcome :)
Republic billboard reads Blue angle #7 landing wed night 5 pm
A Marine Corps CH-53E just (@ ~4:40 PM EDT) went screaming by overhead (~500-ft) here in East Meadow, headed southeast toward the Wantagh Parkway. Presumably this is the one that will be landing at Eisenhower Park this weekend.
From memory... teams have usually used runway 32 for take off and landing. Is this always the case (due to the arresting cable) or will their runway vary with the winds?
I'm just wondering where around the airport I should hang around on Friday/Saturday.
