FYI- They parked the Horse Ramp in front of the Growler in order to shield the front view of
some of the sensitive electronic pods, but you can still get a good side shot the aircraft !!
They also said it's supposed to be departing around 10AM on Fri. morning.
Darn, looks like I'm gonna miss it all together.
FA18s, EA-18's, Blue Angels, Coast Guard.......
NAS (Naval Air Station) Republic - Perhaps?????
FYI, this EA-18G is actually from VAQ-132 "Scorpions" out of NAS Whidbey Island in Washington.
It's Bu. No. is #166898 and it looks to be just about brand new with a sticker price of around $75 Million!!!
She is purty
She sure is, and it was definitely a nice surprise that the Super Hornet, turned out to be an EA-18G GROWLER !!! :borat:Quote:

FAIL! Raining like hell when I got out, and didn't feel like waiting around. Grabbed a quick one through the fence for the personal files, but not anything I'd post here. Especially after seeing Dan's shots.
A couple of weeks back there was a really nice USMC UH-1N parked over by Sheltair.Quote:

Dan great shots. I am guessing they were taken from the main terminal side?
Christina, nice grab on the landing, glad to see the camera didn't slip out of your hands from all the sun tan lotion.
NIce shots Christina and Dan.
I guess the Newsday pic blows any chance of hiding sensitive parts out of the water.
