Wow and you call yourself a plane geek? Yes Phil its a 717, Spanair is Europe's largest 717 operator. [/quote:15oo0x3g]
Are you confusing the Pronair photo with the Spanair? That Pronair is clearly an MD. Look at the engines and compare it to the above Spanair shot, which IS a 717. 717 engines do not have the "spear" on the side.

I thought you meant the Spanair. Clearly the Pronair is not a 717.
Re: 7/18 MIA (Specials inside)
Goodevening, goodafternoon,
As far as I know the only European company flying the 717 today, is Spanair.
Spanair took over Aebal (Aerolineas Balearès) who were flying the 717.
Olympic Aviation, acting as a subsidiary of Olympic Airlines, flew the 717 but was re-integrated in Olympic Airlines a few years ago. Those 717's were sold to Spanair ( http://www.airliners.net/photo/Spanair/ ... 1208877/M/).
Regards, Karl

The SBA 757 looks awesome and the catch of Pronair MD-87 and the Spanair 717 in Miami is very interesting.. Also, Graet catch on Air Berlin A330 and Swiss A340
