Generally, I like my night shots to be more on the dark side. But there are many that I think are very underexposed, leaving interesting details hidden. Thanks for the advice, I still have plenty of experimentation to conduct in the future!

Don't worry, HDRs of the trains are coming. The last few trips have been merely scouting missions, but now that I know what shots I want (and which trains don't contain hobos), I can zero in and eliminate my targets. The DC-8 was in the main museum gallery, right behind the F-9 Couger.

Taken at John Boyd Thatcher State Park last weekend (10/14/07)

Probably one of the best daytime HDR's I've taken so far.

Yea, I just saw the gallery on your site.... You oversaturated everything and it is OUTSTANDING. I love the feel of the shots! :borat: Great Stuff!

Here is a shot of the Verrazano Bridge, taken from the fishing pier at South Beach.
It didn't realy come out the way I wanted it to.
I focused on the bridge with autofocus but it doesn't seem to be in focus.
Does long exposures effect sharpness/focus?

Holy. ****. I love the tree shots.
My camera has an auto-bracketing mode. I'm going to take it to Central Park tomorrow morning if I can drag myself out of bed early enough...

Bigma, that 2nd bridge shot is top notch!
Did you not have the first on a tripod, or was it very windy? Either one could have affected the alignment of the photos.
Re: HDR, anyone else play?
It was windy but it was on a cheap-o tripod.
So maybe the wind was the problem.

From the three throttles, gotta be a Falcon, I'll guess it's a Falcon 900 of some flavor.
Re: HDR, anyone else play?
I took these pics, used the "Merge to HDR..." feature in PS, and I was like, why is this so special? Then I converted to 8-bit color, and I was like, this is fun!
The building to the right of the tree was horrifically overexposed in my original...

This one was all over the place...there are 8 originals, and I think I bumped my tripod at some point because some of the trees are misaligned.
