I saw on my twitter feed that there was apparently a plane that caught fire (my unscientific guess is FOD in the engine). However, I haven't heard any other details since. Has any one else heard anything?

It was a minor engine fire for Aerolineas Argentinas. Wasn't enough to trip the alarms onboard, but other aircraft could see it. The crew aborted their departure (supposedly very early in the takeoff roll) and Port swept the runway for debris once the aircraft was cleared.
Nice fireworks display!
I took off from that runway maybe 30 minutes prior to that. Relatively minor, though visually crazy, it added to what was already a very slow move on the ground at JFK for flights.
