On 16. September the famous cruiseship "Queen Elizabeth II" will come to NYC - does anyone know in which part of the harbour it will be anchored?
Cunard and Princess have been using the Red Hook cruise terminal, but there is still a chance they may dock at the west side piers. It's doing the Farewell to America Crossing.

here it says the 19th but on the Cunard schedule is the 16th.
I believe QE2 will going to the Manhattan terminal despite the Cunard generally using the Red Hook terminal these days.
Last I checked QE2 will be both arriving & departing in darkness, or close to it - I'll have to check that again.
Best to see her at the pier I suppose.

The pier at Manhattan is at the beginning of 55th Street West, am I right?
At the Cunard website I read that it will be at NYC at 16. September from 8:00 to 17:00, so I think there will be a chance to see it leaving NY before sunset.
The north end of the terminal is at 55th, it stretches down to around 43rd.
