In your opinion which foreign airline has the best and worst pilots?
Im not an atc controller.. but from working on JFK line in the past.. i do have to say mexicana, air france or jamacia.. it seemed when i worked with jetblue.. atleast every night one of the 3 the least had a problem every night
not a controller yet, but in a very general sense i have to say that it's not a certain nationality or a certain carrrier that has bad pilots. sure, there are a few rotten apples, but those that struggle the most are those that can't speak english. english is the language of aviation and there is nothing anyone can do about it. even pilots unfamiliar with the way big airports work can get through it as long as they can understand what is being said to them. if they don't, well you only need imagine what can happen.
i've studied under many profesional controllers in my voyage to join the FAA as a controller, and many freinds of mine who currently do the job agree with what i've said above. your question has been asked in countless classrooms and facility tours and that's what they're told.
I'd say the germans and turks have the best grasp of english and ATC. Not only here, but in their own countries as well.
