Just wondering what is going to occur if/ when the sequestration cuts kick in...I am guessing no Thunderbirds? (which is nothing compared to the damage that will be done to the operational readiness of the combat units)......

Well the CNO is already reducing the CAG presence in the gulf to one. The USS Teddy Roosevelt's return to service is being delayed as is the refueling of the Lincoln and the deployment of the Truman. It would be disappointing but not surprising at this point.
Well, if sequestration does happen it will be interesting to see IF Jones Beach still has a show because
the news keeps getting worse unfortunately after hearing Langley has already canceled their show !!:frown:
Some wishful thinking but its possible only the military base airshows are being cancelled as they consider the civilian site shows "good for recruiting"!! Did read that somewhere!!
Wonder if this will effect Fleet Week and everything that goes along with it!?
We shall see!! :frown::mad:

I wonder if everything gets wiped due to the sequester, if we will still get the Canadian planes and private planes?
Hope they'd keep it going. They only thing with private planes though is is it still worth putting on seeing that attendance was down in 2011 when there were no Thunderbirds or Blue Angels. Bring FiFi back!
Reports are in....Thunderbirds cancelled entire season. More info to come.
