Hi guys,
Quick question: Is the 787 leaving EWR at 10:00 on Wednesday?
Thanks in advance
unfortunately Raj its been placed in a well lit hangar so I'm afraid that will have to wait for now.... But here's some of mine from today, more on my flickr

Nicely done gentlemen! I was there in spirit with you, unfortunately I had to fly down to Richmond (RIC) this week for work. Looks like you guys had some great conditions while i was in the snow here for a good part of the day.
Very nice shots, everyone! Good coverage of the arrival.
Great stuff, guys. Love you pre-touchdown shot, Bill!!!
I know we did this with the A380, and maybe I just like the 787 more, but what was it like for you guys to first see and shoot a new plane like that for the first time?
I like how everyone on the ramp shows up for stuff like this...the inner geek comes out for those that aren't even enthusiasts otherwise. Shows the level of the event's importance.
I was fortunate to attend a viewing of her in the hanger yesterday. It was a spur of the moment invite and Newark being Newark, I didn't think it wise to bring my DSLR, was I ever wrong! I had my P&S with me though. What an incredible experience, once in a lifetime for me anyway. What an impressive liner! Here are some decent shots:

I kept asking Cary "Is that it? is that it?" Although it is unmistakable to see those wings flex like they do... very unique indeed. Felt weird to see it finally but not truly enjoy it as I was busy shooting it
Nice shots by everyone! Although I have to say, shooting at EWR when the aircraft are landing from the north in the morning, is my least favorite challenge locally.
But anyway, aside from being another "big twin" there are things I do like visually about the 787 - the nose for one is reminiscent of the comet and caravelle! But the wings and engines are great too!

BOEING 787 (787-800), N7878X, at EWR, New Jersey, USA. March 2012 by Tom Turner - SeaTeamImages / AirTeamImages, on Flickr
Tom, finally someone else says that it looks like the Caravelle!! I agree.
I thought the first time at VCV would be hard to beat but I was wrong. It just got better and better. The 3rd time I slept in my car in a parking lot there and when the sun started to rise I got in position and put the radio on. I didn't have to wait long and I think the fact I was in such a remote place made it better. No car traffic or other people around, the sound of the reverse thrusters was all to be heard. Then it parked for a few mins and turned and just spooled up and departed and did so many other nice things. Did testing the rest of the morning.
Pretty Biblical.
