FedEx lighting configuration
I'm not terribly familiar with aircraft types.
I'm curious if the lighting configuration on this fedex plane is typical ?

I'm referring to the three lights on the forward fuselage. Two near the 'F' in FedEx and one in the lower cockpit area.

Your link doesn't work...are you talking about lights on the side of the fuselage pointing out to the side? They are often wing inspection lights (so you can check for ice, etc.) or taxi lights (so you can see what's off to the side when making a turn).

Yes, as I noted above, those are used to check the wing as well as the area to the side of the aircraft when on the ground.
