Russian Air Force "Swifts" at Zhu Hai Air Show

The Russians performed at Zhu Hai Air Shows regularly. For 2016, they brought a mixed fleet of 6 Mig-29 belonging to the "Swifts" Acrobatic Team and 2 Su-27 from the "Russian Knights" team. Only the Mig-29 performed when I visited. The Mig-29's engines is visibly dirtier, trailing black smoke at times. The Russian's low level close formation passes were very impressive.

Taxi out, note the periscope on top of the cockpit for the back seat pilot, and the blocked air intake to avoid injest foreign objects.
