Another classic scheme gone. Sad.
Never Say Never...
Isn't that Japan Airlines coming back with old logo?
When I did start taking photos, I didn't know nothing about "special", rare...planes/schemes ....etc...
While re-organizing my aircraft photos, I noticed that I had pics of this:

Gintaras, there are also
ATR (no more)
737
757
E145
with Yellow Ribbon to look out for
Gintaras, that 767 was indeed stored in October or November if I recall correctly, although she is now in Canada, perhaps for parting out. There is a 737 with the yellow ribbon, and although I haven't seen a an ERJ with one at DFW in phone time, it is possible that it lives on.
Manny, which 757 has the ribbon? I have never seen a pic, but it'd be a race to catch it before it retires or repaints when I get back from SYD.
ERJ is N818AE
757 is N690AA
Embraer is actually an E135/140
The Flagship 762 is being "stored" in Canada? I thought it was headed to KVCV...
Steve, I believe she initially went to either Roswell or Victorville, but a spotter in Canada later noted her at YYZ (could be wrong on the specific airport) in Canada, well over a month after her withdrawal from service. He could have been mistaken, but an AA 762 with a yellow ribbon in Canada seems fairly distinctive. Who knows...
You mean I have to keep looking at that gin and birthday cake mess of a tail? Crap. Oh well I suppose there are other things to truly get upset about
Cute article. Imagine actually letting the minions at AA AActaully believe they had any say in the color scheme...
