New iOS app Hyperlapse

Anybody try out the new FREE app from Instagram, called Hyperlapse? The idea is to shoot video with your iDevice and when done, the app processes it and creates a smoothed out, time-lapse version. When previewing, it gives you an option to adjust the speed of playback. You can then save the final version to your device, or can share it on Instagram.

I downloaded it yesterday and started playing with it. Initial impressions are that this app has a lot of potential. A lot of fun doing this kind of recording. However, there is no zoom function. And there isn't a straightforward way to save the same video with multiple speed options, or to vary the speed within a clip. It may be on Android as well, not sure.

But, as with any new app, it will certainly be improved over time.
