AA 117 reached LAX 5:40 late!
WOW, seems a bit of overkill to delay a flight by 5:40 where all they had to do was remove a single passenger and search the plane. I would have thought a 3 hour delay would have been more realistic.

While perusing avherald, I noticed another incident on an AA 767 and a passenger setting something on fire which occurred today.

Actually that incident occurred on Aug 1. Was going to mention it here too but since it didn't involve a flight to or from the NYC area, decided not to mention it.Quote:
